Just what I've been looking for

I just saw this fantastic post about DIY Headboards on SF Apartment Therapy (yeah I am a little obsessed with the site right now...so what?). I have been "trying" to figure out what the heck to do in my bedroom for over a year now (by "trying" I mean that I get annoyed every couple months and find stuff I want to do and then never do anything). This post might actually push me into finally taking the plunge, I am truly inspired!! So my favorite ideas are above and below. What do you think I should try??

(DIY Book Headboard - I swear my love for this has nothing to do with the quilt)

I vote for the book headboard. Mostly because I love to read in bed and old books are so easy to find. You could do that in a day!

Thanks for the input! I am leaning towards the books and my man is leaning towards the chalk board. Typical...:)

We just made a headboard out of a door...it looks pretty cool.

Let me know what kind of quilt you want.

Oohh Sare - that is a serious question, I am going to have to think about it.

I want to see pictures of your headboard.

hi alana, just catching up on some blog reading... i LOVE the chalkboard headboard. i'm obsessed with all things classroom/old school house related and other than chalk falling on your head while sleeping it's brilliant! i love the fact that you and your man could write love notes to one another... morning or night :)

Lori - I love that you can customize and change it up anytime.
