If I had made the sensible choice I would have already finished eating, instead I will be eating at 9 (but I will love every bite of that lasagna damnit!).
This is a blog about my attempts at living a 'green' life, learning some old school skills, starting a business, and anything else I deem reasonable enough to write about (which is pretty much everything).

Cravings = eating dinner at 9pm
I got home at 6:20pm and really didnt want what I had planned for dinner tonight (warm shrimp and eggplant salad over brown rice) - what I really wanted was spinach/kale lasagna (Note: I didnt have all the ingredients). Not listening to reason, I prepped everything that I could (white sauce, sauteed spinach and kale, cooked lasgna noodles)
and then waited for Mister to get home with the rest of the ingredients.
I just put the lasagna in the oven about 10 minutes ago...sigh

The Veggies have arrived
We got our first box of veggies/fruit on Wednesday. It was just so lovely I had to share. The abundance of food that is available in January is pretty amazing.

Mister and I created and Super Green Dinner with our veggies - sauteed kale, "cooking" spinach, leeks, onions, a few carrots over wheat berries with a cilantro, lime, chili, sourcream (I had to put some fat in) dressing - we prettied it up with sliced radishes and avacado (yumm...more fat). Pics below.

If anyone is interested in the recipe let me know!
